KF-6105 is a 100% active branched silicone emulsifier modified with lauryl alkyl and polyglycerin groups, officially developed by Shin-Etsu for personal care formulations. Its unique branched silicone-polyglycerin dual structure enables wide-spectrum emulsification for W/Si (water-in-silicone) and W/O (water-in-oil) systems. Fully free of PEG, it avoids PEG-related irritation risks. It features outstanding solubility in dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, mineral oil and plant esters, supporting stable emulsion with controllable viscosity and long shelf stability. The polyglycerin segment provides strong moisturizing performance; emulsions formulated with KF-6105 absorb rapidly into skin without sticky residue, leaving a silky, non-greasy moist finish. It is ready-to-use without pre-dilution, ideal for low-irritation cosmetic products.
