Liveo Q7-4780 is the hardest grade within DuPont Q7 series enhanced tear resistant ETR High Consistency rubber lineup, two-part platinum addition cure medical silicone rubber with Shore A 78 maximum hardness. This shore A 78 silicone delivers rigid structural strength balanced with reliable 32.4 kN/m Die B tear resistance, ideal for high-stress rigid medical hardware. It fully complies with FDA 21 CFR food & biotech contact standards, compatible with steam autoclave, EO and gamma 50kGy sterilization cycles. Standard curing condition is 10 minutes at 115°C for parts up to 2mm thickness; optional 175°C × 2h post-cure is available for ultra-low volatile demands. Blended compound can be sealed and frozen for up to 7 days to retain usable working life. Designed exclusively for medical devices with less than 30 days human tissue contact, this ETR High Consistency Rubber supports compression molding, transfer molding and continuous extrusion manufacturing workflows.
