Dowsil SE 9120 is a high-performance clear, one-part moisture-cure silicone sealant engineered for precision electronics applications. Featuring very low viscosity and high flowability, it delivers excellent self-leveling and gap-filling ability, making it ideal for micro-scale assembly, coating, and encapsulation. The material cures rapidly at room temperature with a 9-minute skin-over time, supporting high-throughput manufacturing without the need for ovens. Its formulation includes controlled volatility and extremely low levels of low-molecular-weight siloxanes (only 55 ppm), significantly reducing risks of contamination or interface issues in sensitive electronics such as LCDs, PCBs, and optical modules. The cured elastomer provides high elongation (375%), low Shore A hardness (24), and excellent electrical insulation properties, offering reliable protection against shock, vibration, moisture, and environmental stress. With a wide operating temperature range from -45°C to 200°C, it maintains stable performance over long service life. The clear, translucent appearance ensures aesthetic compatibility with visible components, while its reworkable nature supports flexible production and repair processes.
