Molykote EM-30L is a silicone-based lubricating grease formulated. It is designed for plastic and metal interfaces in electrical and mechanical devices. It offers low friction, excellent compatibility with thermoplastics, and stable performance across a wide temperature range, making it ideal for precision components in automotive, office, and consumer electronics.

• Temp Range - This Molykote® EM-30L grease maintains effective lubrication from −45°C to 150°C, supported by a base oil viscosity of 90 mm²/s at 40°C. Within this span it forms a stable oil film that limits stick–slip, helping mechanisms work consistently during cold starts, normal room operation and moderate heat build-up.

  
  

• Oxidation Resist - High-temperature air exposure tests show only a small increase in viscosity and limited sludge formation, indicating strong resistance to oxidation. This stability extends relubrication intervals and helps keep torque characteristics steady over long service periods.

  
  

• Water Resist - Humidity and water-spray evaluations confirm that EM-30L retains film thickness and does not wash off easily. The grease keeps contact surfaces separated in damp or condensation-prone environments, reducing wear that could occur when moisture is present.

  
  

• Plastic Compat - Material compatibility tests with typical engineering plastics such as ABS, POM and PC reveal very low swelling and no stress cracking.
