KF-6017 is a modified silicone oil containing polyoxyethylene groups in its molecular structure, along with dimethyl silicone oil and cyclopentasiloxane. It is a colorless to pale yellow, transparent liquid with a viscosity of 600 mm²/s, a specific gravity of approximately 1.0, and a refractive index of 1.42. After undergoing deodorization treatment, it exhibits no odor, even after long-term storage or high-temperature testing. Its outstanding characteristics include excellent emulsification properties in both W/O (oil-in-water) and W/Si (silicon-in-water) systems, while maintaining stable dispersion. It can be used to create refreshing and stable W/Si emulsions.

key features
Excellent Solubility - KF-6017 exhibits excellent water solubility, a property derived from its polyoxyethylene groups. This allows it to completely dissolve in water at 25°C, with a dissolution rate exceeding 95%.
Efficient Dispersibility - This product exhibits excellent dispersibility in water, achieving uniform distribution even at low concentrations. For example, a homogeneous, transparent system can be formed at a concentration of 0.5%, with no noticeable settling after 72 hours. Compared to traditional silicone fluids, it can reduce particle aggregation in emulsions and hydrogels, improving the product's appearance stability during long-term storage.
Low Surface Tension - KF-6017 has a significantly lower surface tension than conventional silicone fluids, measuring approximately 20-22 mN/m at 25°C, compared to 21-24 mN/m for standard dimethyl silicone fluids. This low surface tension enables rapid spreading and compatibility with both water and oil, improving emulsification efficiency.
Cosmetics and Skincare - KF-6017 is widely used in the cosmetics and skincare industries, particularly in lotions, creams, and color cosmetics. Its excellent water solubility and dispersibility ensure high stability in both W/O and W/Si emulsions, significantly improving the structural uniformity of the formulation. Actual testing has shown that adding 3% of KF-6017 to an emulsion can improve formula stability by over 30%. Even after storage at 45°C for 90 days, the system remains homogeneous and free of delamination. For end users, these products not only provide a refreshing, non-sticky feel but also enhance the delivery of active skincare ingredients, providing a superior user experience.
