Spanjaard silicone Spray is a food-grade, non-drying silicone lubricant and protector supplied in an aerosol format for fast, clean application. In day-to-day use, it lays down a clear, non-staining lubricating film that reduces sticking and improves smooth movement on common mechanical interfaces, while keeping parts easier to wipe clean after maintenance. The spray format helps users reach tight gaps and irregular shapes without disassembly, making routine servicing faster and more consistent across repeated applications. All raw materials used in the manufacture of the product comply with FDA section 21 CFR 178.3570.

Key features
Food-grade compliance - Formulated for incidental food contact environments, and the raw materials comply with FDA 21 CFR 178.3570 for food processing use. The Spanjaard Silicone Spray is positioned for regulated production areas where lubricant selection must meet hygiene requirements. The aerosol pack size is 400 ml, supporting controlled, repeatable application at the worksite.
Thermal stability - Provides a high flash point of 315°C under ASTM D56, supporting safer handling where elevated ambient temperatures or heat sources are present. This data point helps specify the product in facilities that require documented flammability-related properties. The coating remains clear and does not rely on dyes for identification.
Low-temperature flow - Delivers a pour point of -50°C, indicating strong low-temperature fluidity for cold-area storage and maintenance. This value supports use where lubricants must remain workable after low-temperature exposure and during cold starts. The silicone film remains non-drying, reducing the chance of brittle residue at low temperatures.
Controlled viscosity - Rated at 500 cSt at 25°C using Brookfield measurement, providing a balance between spreadability and film presence on parts. This viscosity level supports uniform coverage without becoming overly thin during application. Clear, colourless appearance helps avoid visible staining on finished assemblies and polymer surfaces.
Plastic gears - Applied to plastic gear interfaces to reduce stick-slip and improve consistent meshing during repeated motion. The clear, non-staining film is suitable where gear visibility and cleanliness matter for inspection. Aerosol delivery improves access to enclosed gear housings and narrow tooth profiles.
Slides - Used on linear slides to improve smooth travel and reduce intermittent binding during start-stop operation. The spray reaches long slide tracks and hidden contact points, supporting consistent coverage without disassembly. It is commonly selected where a clean, non-drying lubricant layer is preferred over oily deposits.
O-rings - Used on O-ring interfaces to reduce assembly friction and support easier seating during installation. The clear silicone film helps minimize twisting and surface drag that can lead to uneven placement. It is suitable for maintenance workflows that require quick, repeatable lubrication of elastomer components.
Valves - Applied on valve linkages and moving interfaces to reduce operating force and improve repeat actuation consistency. The spray format supports targeted application on complex geometries and internal corners. Clear coverage helps maintain a clean appearance on equipment where residue control is required.
Hinges - Used on hinges to improve opening smoothness and reduce noise caused by dry contact surfaces. Aerosol application supports penetration into hinge knuckles and tight gaps with minimal overspray control steps. The non-staining, clear film helps protect appearance on visible hardware.
