key features
Heat and Cold Resistance - Because the silicone fluid base oil has good resistance to heat and cold, the drop point is high, there is little oil separation, and volatile content is low. G-746 maintains its structure after 1000 hours at 150°C, ensuring long-term thermal stability. Its viscosity remains uniform within -50°C to 150°C, effectively preventing thermal degradation and ensuring continuous performance in both high and low temperature conditions.
Moisture Resistance - These products have good resistance to water and moisture. Silicone greases can be left underwater for long periods; the surface may turn white, but there is almost no internal change. Tests show that after 168 hours at 95% relative humidity, G-746 retained 98% dielectric strength, confirming its ability to withstand high-humidity environments without performance loss.
Safety - The silicone fluid base oil is chemically inactive, so these products pose almost no risk to humans and animals. G-746 achieved a 1a rating in ASTM D130 copper corrosion tests, proving it is non-corrosive to metals. It emits no harmful gases under prolonged high-temperature operation, ensuring safety for both users and sensitive electronic components.
Efficiency - Excellent performance even when used in small amounts. With a thermal conductivity of 2.65 W/m·K, G-746 transfers heat quickly and effectively. A 0.05 mm layer can reduce power transistor temperatures by up to 10°C, significantly increasing device efficiency and lifespan while minimizing material use.
Water Repellency - It adheres well to surfaces and resists being washed away by water, even under pressure or flow. With an oil separation rate of less than 0.3% after 1000 hours at 150°C, it maintains strong adhesion and consistent heat transfer. This ensures long-lasting protection in outdoor or high-humidity applications, providing reliable thermal contact under all operating conditions.
Electric & Electronics - G-746 is widely used in power transistors, LED drivers, and transformers to enhance heat transfer and maintain stable operation. It reduces surface temperature by 8–12°C compared with standard greases, effectively extending equipment lifespan.
Semiconductor - In semiconductor devices such as MOSFETs and IGBTs, G-746 provides a low thermal resistance of 0.12°C·cm²/W, enabling effective junction temperature control and preventing overheating. It ensures consistent heat dissipation for compact, high-power semiconductor assemblies.
Automobile - G-746 is ideal for ECUs, LED headlights, and battery management systems. After 500 hours at 85°C and 85% relative humidity, it maintained full adhesion and thermal stability. It provides reliable performance under vibration, heat, and humidity typical of automotive environments.
