Molykote 106 is a heat-cured anti-friction coating designed for permanent dry-film lubrication of metal components. It offers high load-carrying capacity and operates without the need for relubrication in situations where oil or grease is undesirable.
PRODUCTS DESCRIPTION

MOLYKOTE® 106 Anti-Friction Coating (AFC) is a solvent-based, dark gray dry film lubricant that uses molybdenum disulfide and graphite as solid lubricants in an organic binder system. It is applied by spraying, dipping, centrifuging, or brushing and requires heat curing (e.g., 60 minutes at 150°C) to form a durable, low-friction film. The cured film provides excellent long-lasting lubrication and corrosion protection for highly stressed metal-on-metal friction combinations, particularly those operating at low speeds or with oscillating movements. It performs effectively across a wide temperature range from (-70 °C) to (+250 °C).
