KEY FEATURES
Heat Resistance - The dimethyl-type KF-96-1000cs remains stable at temperatures up to 150 °C, while the methylphenyl variant can withstand even higher temperatures of up to 250 °C, making it suitable for high-temperature applications without degradation.
Viscosity Stability - This grade exhibits minimal viscosity change with temperature fluctuations. KF-96 and specifically the KF-96H series are recognized for offering the highest viscosity stability available, ensuring consistent performance under varying thermal conditions.
Thermal Properties - KF-96-1000cs has low thermal conductivity, approximately 1/4 of water, and a low specific heat—about 1/3 of water—making it an effective thermal insulation medium in various industrial and electronic applications.
Chemical Stability - KF-96-1000cs is inert to most acids and alkalis at room temperature and demonstrates strong resistance to corrosion when in contact with metals such as aluminum and stainless steel, ensuring long-term durability in harsh chemical environments.
Low Surface Tension - With a surface tension significantly lower than water, it spreads rapidly over surfaces. This property makes it highly effective as a key ingredient in defoamers, release agents, and cosmetic formulations.
